Grandstand events in Wausaukee start tonight
WAUSAUKEE, Wis. — The four-day 2021 Marinette County Fair opens today at the fairgrounds in Wausaukee.
Featured grandstand arena events include the Lena Mini and Modified Tractor Pullers Association competition at 7 p.m. today, the farm tractor pull at 7 p.m. Friday, a demolition derby at 1 p.m. and supermodified truck and tractor pull at 7 p.m. Saturday, and the horse pull at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
A change this year is no extra charge to attend the grandstand competitions tonight and Sunday. Friday and Saturday events will be $8 or $5 for ages 6 to 12; younger than 6 are admitted free.
The fair also offers live music, magic and comedy shows, a carnival with rides and, of course, the livestock and other fair exhibits.
Cost to enter the fairgrounds is $5 each day, $2 on Sunday. A weekend pass is $15, or $12 if purchased in advance. Parking is $1.
Exhibition buildings open at 9 a.m. each day of the fair.
