KINGSFORD — The Breitung Township Schools Board of Education is seeking applications for a current vacant position on the board.

Candidates must be registered voters and residents in the Breitung Township School District, which includes Kingsford, Quinnesec and the Township of Breitung.

Applicants are to submit a letter expressing interest in the board position and their qualifications for the position to Carrie Swanson, Superintendent’s Secretary, Breitung Township Schools, 810 Pyle Drive, Kingsford, Michigan 49802 by 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 22.

Following a review of the submitted materials, the board will schedule interviews with selected candidates. Not all candidates for the board vacancy will be interviewed.
