KINGSFORD — All police, fire and emergency personnel, along with their families, are invited to a family picnic Saturday, April 27, hosted by Balsam Street Christian Church in Kingsford.

The picnic, which is in honor of Public Safety Appreciation Day, takes place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Menominee River Park in Kingsford.

The church wishes to thank public safety personnel for their service with food, fellowship and family. Boy Scout Troop 510 will assist with the picnic.

For those who are on duty and unable to attend, the church will deliver food to local stations.
