Just who does Mr. McBroom represent in UP?
I can hardly believe that our state senator, Ed McBroom, went to Lansing to testify AGAINST increasing protected wilderness in the U.P. Doesn’t he understand how important tourism is to us? Doesn’t he understand WHY the tourists come here? It is the pristine wilderness. Tourism benefits all of us. The hotels, the small stores, restaurants and bars and many more benefit from tourism.
These are the people that you represent. Or am I wrong? Do you represent the loggers and developers who would cut down the trees, drive out the wildlife and build who knows what?
So, Mr. McBroom, who do you represent?
