Forest Park coaches to hold golf scramble, fundraiser

CRYSTAL FALLS — Forest Park’s coaches are organizing the sixth annual golf scramble for Saturday, June 8, at Crystal View Golf Course.

The 18-hole event will include numerous contests throughout the day along with prizes for both men and women.

“This event is unique in that it raises money for multiple groups,” said Trojans girls track coach Kurt Anderson. Funds raised go towards, but are not limited to the weight room, girls volleyball, girls basketball and football.

Registration of four-person teams begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Entry fee is $160 per team.

Lunch will be provided, with brats and hot dogs served after golf. Beverages will be available on course.

“There will be a separate division for all male teams and mixed teams,” Anderson said.

Checks should be made payable to Forest Park Schools and sent Forest Park Schools, Attn: Kurt Anderson, 801 Forest Parkway, Crystal Falls, MI 49920.
