41 Lumber splits at De Pere

DE PERE, Wis. – The Dickinson Amateur Hockey Association 41 Lumber Pee Wees skated to a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over De Pere Sunday after dropping a tight 1-0 decision in the first game.

Trailing by a goal entering the final period, 41 Lumber got a pair of tallies by Jacob Deuter, the go-ahead goal occurring at the 9:58 mark.

Henry Pennala scored 41 Lumber’s first goal, which briefly tied the contest 1-1 in the second stanza.

Jaxon Buckley assisted on Pennala’s goal. Kaleb Fornetti and Evan Moyer had the assists on Deuter’s goals.

Goalie Nathan Scullon totaled 47 shots combined in the two games, including 28 in the 1-0 loss when 41 Lumber was outshot 29-17.

The team heads to Eagle River Saturday for a pair of games.
