FP boys lose

CRYSTAL FALLS — Bark River-Harris pulled ahead in the second quarter and defeated Forest Park 53-46 in Skyline Central Conference basketball Friday.

“Their pressure got to us at times and forced some turnovers,” said Trojans coach Kurt Lehmann. “A tough second quarter got us behind and we could never recover.”

Keall Emmers led Forest Park with 18 points and Tommy Peltoma added 11.

The Broncos got 17 points from Nick Javurek.

The Trojans led 14-11 after the first quarter but got outscored 16-8 in the second.

“Keall Emmers had a good night for us and Tommy Peltoma had a good night inside with keeping them off the glass and scoring inside ,” Lehmann said.

The Trojans (7-10) will play a non-conference game at Florence on Thursday.
