Nordics defeat Rapid River, 3-0

FELCH TOWNSHIP — In a Skyline Central Conference volleyball matchup Tuesday night, the North Dickinson Nordics blanked Rapid River 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-16) at the Carl F. Lemin Jr. Gymnasium.
“The first set was really close, until Vanessa Lindholm went on a six-point serving run,” said first year Nordics coach Taylor Johnson. “After that, we rolled through the rest of the set, and were confident and comfortable the rest of the night.”
Kassandra Cary and Chrislyn Inglese were real strong at the net in the second se,t Johnson noted.
“By the third set, we were playing with a lot of hustle and heart. It was a fun night,” Johnson added.
For the Nordics, Micha Lindholm, Eligh Stout and Isabella Reimer were 100% serving on the night. North Dickinson travels to SCC foe Carney-Nadeau on Thursday night.
Rapid River won the JV game 2-0.
