FLORENCE, Wis. — Patrick Millan recorded a double-double, 18 points and 15 rebounds as one of three players in double figures for Florence, as they cruised past Lena 73-47 here Tuesday night.

The Bobcats were led in scoring sophomore Evan Johnson with a game-high 25 points, in the non-conference matchup. Fellow sophomore Dominic DeMuri added 11 points.

“I thought as a team, we got off to a quick start. Lena hung around with getting to the free throw line, and playing gritty,” said Bobcats head coach Bryan Bomberg.

“I was really pleased with our rebounding and our man defense,” Bomberg added. “We have a tough challenge coming up over break with Laona-Wabeno.”

Florence, who improves to 2-2 on the season, travel to Laona on Monday for the Northern Lakes Conference matchup.
