MUNISING — North Dickinson fell 78-43 to Munising in boys basketball Wednesday but generated their best offense of the season.

“Munising is very, very explosive,” said Nordics coach Chris Mattson. “They’re athletic.”

The Mustangs drained 12 triples, while North Dickinson had five of its own. Munising led 42-25 at halftime.

Maximus Mattson led the Nordics with 14 points while Tucker Mattson had 13. Brennan Donaldson finished with nine points, seven rebounds and five assists.

“He gave us a total game,” coach Mattson said. “We made some strides.”

Sam Brown led Munising with 20 points.

The Nordics (0-3) travel to Carney-Nadeau on Friday.
