HERMANSVILLE — After a one-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, the annual Gold Medal Classic independent basketball tournament will be April 14-18 at the Meyer Township Community Club in Hermansville.

The amount of divisions to play this year have been reduced from year’s past. There will be men’s A,B,C and open/E. There will also be a woman’s division.

Woman’s and Class A will be April 17-18 with a two-game guarantee for both divisions. Men’s E/open players cannot play in Class A.

A junior high division will take place before the adult tournament on April 10-11. No travel teams will be allowed in the junior high division.

If there is enough interest, there will be a seventh and eighth grade division for boys and girls.
