Florence-Niagara high jumper Alyssa Cretton competes at the Kingsford Invitational on May 18 at Flivver Field. Cretton jumped 5 feet 3 inches at Lena High School on Tuesday to break Niagara’s school high jump record. Vickie Leathers held the previous record of 5 feet 2 inches, which she set in 1989. In her sophomore season in 2019, Cretton tied Leathers’ mark.
