The Crystal Falls Area Community Foundation, along with the CFACF Youth Advisory Committee and the Dickinson Area Community Foundation, recently awarded $5,200 to Mastodon Township for upgrades to the Anderson Ball Field in Alpha. The entire project will include updating the bathroom, adding dugouts, scoreboard, lights and concessions to the softball field. The long-term plan is to utilize this upgraded field for numerous activities and tournaments that will enhance the community and offer a safe outdoor recreational location for all area residents.
