IRON MOUNTAIN — Luke Wolfe ran for 116 yards as Iron Mountain crushed Ishpeming 49-14 in a WestPAC conference game Friday at Mountaineer Stadium.

Iron Mountain quarterback Joe Colavecchi was 6 of 7 passing for 98 yards and two TDs.

“The completions were to five different receivers, which was nice to see,” said Mountaineers coach Robin Marttila.

“We got the momentum early and it snowballed from there,” Marttila said. “Our kids played well. Luke Wolfe made some big plays.”

Lifted by three Wolfe TDs, the Mountaineers led 28-0 after the first quarter and 42-0 by halftime.

Wolfe’s rushing total came on nine carries, including a 78-yard jaunt.

Bradon Farragh had 28 rushing yards on four touches and Max Jayne gained 26 yards on five attempts.

Joe Colavecchi had an interception while Jayne, Farragh and Preston Roberts were credited with fumble recoveries. Hunter Fortner had nine tackles and a sack.

Iron Mountain (5-3) will conclude the regular season on Friday, hosting Manistique.
