NIAGARA –Chaske Jacobs connected on six 3-pointers and poured in 27 points to lead Oneida Nation to a 75-47 victory over Niagara in a Marinette & Oconto Conference boys basketball game Tuesday in Niagara.

Jacobs hit three 3-pointers and scored 14 points in the second half when the Thunderhawks broke open the game by outscoring the Badgers 41-24.

Badgers freshman Tommy Martin recorded 14 of his team-high 20 points in the first half, which closed with Niagara down by 11. Aiden Colenso and Logan Weber scored 10 points each for the Badgers (0-2, 0-1).

“We have to continue to work and stay positive,” Niagara coach Terry Youren said. “Oneida shot extremely well tonight and did a nice job. Hats off to them.”
