KINGSFORD — Online registration for the SAY Northern Soccer League is open for the 2022 season with a deadline of March 18.

Registration information can be found at www.saynml.org. The cost is $50 per player, with no family discount.

New players must upload a copy of their birth certificate. Players are registered in the division of their age as of Dec. 31, 2022.

There will be no late registrations, as the system will shut down after March 18.

All games, Monday through Thursday, will be scheduled at 5:15 or 6:45 p.m. Because of past issues, no dogs will be allowed at SAY functions.

The first season will begin May 23 and run through June 24. Divisions include Passers (ages 6 and 7), Minors (ages 14 and 15) and Seniors (ages 16, 17 and 18). There will be a tournament for qualifying Minors and Seniors teams on July 8-9.

The first season coaches meeting will be May 12.

The second season runs from June 27 through July 29. Divisions include Wings (ages 8 and 9), Strikers (ages 10 and 11) and Kickers (ages 12 and 13). The tournament for qualifying teams will be Aug. 5-7.

The second season coaches meeting will be June 16.

Volunteer help is needed for coaches, administration, field maintenance and board members. Lack of volunteers could jeopardize the program. Volunteers can sign up at www.saynml.org.

Referees must be at least age 14. Two clinics are required for new referees and one for returning referees. The clinics are scheduled from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Dickinson County Library on April 24, May 1, May 15 and May 22.
