THREE LAKES, Wis. — The Kingsford Flivvers girls varsity soccer team rang up four goals in the opening 15 minutes en route to an 8-0 victory over host Three Lakes on Thursday.

Maria Fornetti led the way with a hat trick, while Erika Malone and Brooke Bittinger added two goals and Lexie Vross contributed one.

“It was a pretty dominant performance,” Kingsford coach Jon Lorenzoni said. “We played almost the entire first half on the attacking half of the field.

“We were able to work on some things and get our younger players some good minutes,” he added. “It was a total team win.”

Malone and Peyton Johnson registered two assists, while Fornetti, Bella Jayne and Mia Counter chipped in with one assist each.

With the victory, the Flivvers have won four straight matches and improve to 7-1-1 on the season.
