NLC honors trio from Florence softball team

FLORENCE, Wis. — Florence senior Paige Uren, junior Morgan Tomczak and sophomore Isabella Millan and were named to the 2022 Northern Lakes Conference softball team.
Millan and Uren were unanimous selections to the first team, along with Three Lakes-Phelps senior Mari Szewz.
Elizabeth Krawze of Laona-Wabeno was named the NLC player of the year, while her co-coaches, Danielle Peterson and Scott Tinsman, were picked as coaches of the year for leading the Rebels to the league title.
Other first-team members included Alexis Schallock, Karsen May, Kelsey Bissonette and Lauren Littleton of Crandon and Allison Albrecht, Grace Krawze and Elizabeth Krawze of Laona-Wabeno.
Second-teamers consisted of Ellie Jaeger and Ruby Mischler of Crandon, Cate Gilbert of Goodman-Pembine, Kaylyn LaRock and Rylee Yaeger of Laona-Wabeno and Jenna Erikson, Kaya Szewz, Olivia Terlizzi and Ruth Janovick of Three Lakes-Phelps.
