Florence scored seven runs in the first inning and went on to defeat Three Lakes/Phelps 10-1 in Northern Lakes Conference baseball Thursday.
Bradly Steber pitched a complete seven-inning gem for the Bobcats, scattering three hits, walking three and striking out eight.
Florence’s Carter Reed laced two singles and drove in three runs. Promice Setner also singled twice, bringing home two runs.
Kade Larson’s triple ignited the opening rally and the Bobcats got singles from Carson Chrisman, Logan McCoy and Steber to complete an eight-hit attack.
Florence (6-3, 4-1) will travel to Goodman-Pembine today.

Niagara 1
Colton Arpke held Niagara to three hits as Crivitz improved to 8-0 in the M&O Conference.
Owen Dunkes singled in the first inning and later scored, but that was all the offense the Badgers could generate.
Arpke walked only one and struck out 11 as Remington Buchanan and Noah Wheeler had Niagara’s only other hits.
Buchanan pitched six innings, allowing seven hits and three runs (one earned). He walked one and fanned four. Dwight Hedmark pitched a scoreless seventh for the host Badgers.
