Let’s kick it in gear and start tabbing. We want to go for 2 million. We need to get more people involved — family, friends, relatives and businesses. Remember, I’m the gopher. You have to feed me. Delta Kappa Gamma Society is an international group of women educators that promote excellence in education. Each year the society addresses issues of relevance to all educators as the function of its U.S. forum. They select what they believe to be the most critical issue of the time. EDITOR: Sorry for all the Fox News watchers, but the company didn’t pay out over three-quarters of a billion dollars to an approximately $60 million company if they were not guilty of lies causing defamation. Choosing to be happy in life

I don’t know if I have even mentioned this, but in the military, during a war in which I was a combatant, I was injured numerous times. The U.S. Air Force thought I was trying to avoid going into combat, even though I had already done that more than once, and so they refused me medical treatment. It took two years and a U.S. senator to get me into an Air Force hospital, where I stayed four months and had a couple surgeries. I guess I was not “faking” after all. The results of playing up fears

Is this a country dominated by fear? To me, fear results in responses such as isolation, suspicion, irrationality, violence, discrimination, panic and extremism. This appears to be the state of the country today. We saw it recently in a young person shot twice for ringing a doorbell at the wrong house, a young women shot for turning into a wrong driveway, and several innocent people of color killed by police and civilians. Opposed to IM school millage

To all the voters of Iron Mountain, please consider some things before going to the polls on May 2: 1. North Elementary is not paid off yet. They are hoping to sell it. What is it a desirable location for? 2. New proposed Early Childhood/Kindergarten Academy will be on streets with traffic to the west side and next to a very active church. 3. The superintendent in a public forum said the current enrollment trend dips then levels off, dips and levels off, never mentioning an increase. Keep in mind the birth rates are declining.
