Reservations due Dec. 20 for free Christmas meal

KINGSFORD — The First Presbyterian Church in Kingsford will serve a free meal on Christmas Day by delivery or drive-thru pick-up only. Members of community can enjoy a free ham dinner that can be delivered directly to their homes or picked up at the church. Deliveries will begin at 11 a.m. and pick-ups are available from 11 a.m. until noon. Those taking part are asked to enter the parking lot using the Hamilton Avenue entrance, where parking lot attendants will then guide them into the right line. Fall Festival Sunday at Kingsford church

KINGSFORD — American Martyrs Church in Kingsford will host its annual Fall Festival on Sunday in the Parish Hall. They will feature their famous chicken dinner with all the trimmings. Dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 4 to 6 p.m. Cost will be $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6 to 12 and free for children younger than 5. Tickets will be available for their raffle drawing and also for chances to win one of their raffle baskets.
