Post 50 to host fish fry on Friday

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Uren-Cooper-Johnson American Legion Post 50 of Iron Mountain will host a fish fry from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at the hall. Customers will have a choice of a three-piece cod, eight breaded shrimp, or five-piece Alaskan walleye (pollock). The meals will also include fries or homemade chips, baked beans and cole slaw. PEO Chapter AN meets Monday

IRON MOUNTAIN — P.E.O. Chapter AN will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain. Note that this is a change of venue. Hosting the meeting are Sue Tinti and Lorraine McMillan.

GFWC sets meeting for November, December

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs has announced the regular November and December meetings will be at the Chippewa Club in Iron Mountain. Members are to note the change in location of the regular meeting at Pine Grove Country Club. The Nov. 7 meeting will honor area women veterans.
