KINGSFORD — The Christians for Racial Understanding: Community for All group will host two discussions on the 2019 best-selling book, "The Color of Compromise: The Truth about the American Church’s Complicity in Racism,” by Christian historian and racial justice advocate Dr. Jemar Tisby. Stamp club meets Oct. 21

IRON MOUNTAIN — The monthly meeting of the Northwoods Philatelic Society stamp club will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, in the Fellowship Room of First Lutheran Church, 1210 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain. The church is located between Domino’s Pizza and Slumberland Furniture. A short business meeting and educational program will be followed by the usual informal stamp club auction. October doll club meeting Thursday

EAGLE RIVER, Wis. — The Enchanted Doll Club of the Northwoods will have its October meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday in the meeting room of the Kalmar Community Center at 1101 Railroad St. in Eagle River.
