Hunters’ Bake Sale and raffle later this week
VULCAN — St. Barbara's Women’s League of Vulcan will host its annual Hunters' Bake Sale and Fall Basket Raffle extravaganza Thursday through Saturday in the parish hall. The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and again after the 6 p.m. Mass on Saturday. It will feature a wide variety of homemade pies, cookies, sweet breads, coffee cakes, as well as other treats. Home-canned items will be available. IRON MOUNTAIN — The monthly meeting of the Northwoods Philatelic Society stamp club is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the Fellowship Room of First Lutheran Church, 1210 S.
