FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will begin its 2025 meetings starting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Meetings are on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the Florence Natural Resource Center, 5638 Forestry Drive in Florence. Those attending should use the back parking lot and enter into the lower level. Meetings take place April through October. The club was formed in 2008 by people who have an interest in rocks and minerals. Potential new members are always welcome.
