Parkinson’s group meets Thursday

KINGSFORD — The Dickinson County Parkinson’s Support Group will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church in Kingsford. This is open to all Parkinson’s patients, caregivers and family members. Stephanie Woznak from the Michigan Parkinson Foundation in Bingham Farms will be at the meeting to give a talk about what is available for Michigan residents who have Parkinson’s. Duck race today in Niagara

NIAGARA, Wis. — The Niagara Knights of Columbus will have its annual Jeff Champeau Memorial Duck Race today at Heights Park in Niagara. The grounds open at 3 p.m., with the race starting at 6 p.m. Local country band 141 North will provide live music beginning at 7 p.m. The Knights of Columbus will have several random drawings before and after the race, including 50-50 drawings. Stamp club to meet Tuesday

IRON MOUNTAIN — The monthly meeting of the Northwoods Philatelic Society stamp club is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Fellowship Room of First Lutheran Church, 1210 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain. The church is between Domino’s Pizza and Slumberland Furniture. Caregiver Support Group meets Thursday

IRON MOUNTAIN —The Caregiver Support Group meets from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the main office of the Dickinson Iron Community Services Agency in Iron Mountain. There is still construction near the cconference room so the meeting will be in the kitchen area, in the entry way a few doors down. The door will be propped open and there will be a sign.
