NARFE meets on Oct. 24
NORWAY — The National Active and Retired Federal Employees, or NARFE, meeting is scheduled for noon Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Mike’s on Main restaurant in Norway. All are welcome to attend.
Fall Harvest Craft Show on Oct. 28
GOODMAN, Wis. — The Goodman-Armstrong Creek Varsity Club will again host its annual Fall Harvest Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the G-AC High School gym. The 18th annual event will feature more than 40 crafters and will include a Polish food concession. They will also have a bake sale and bucket raffles. Admission is free. Proceeds go to support scholarships, athletic expenses, and other student necessities.

Pembine Booster Club to host donkey basketball fundraiser
PEMBINE, Wis. — The Pembine Booster Club will host a fundraiser event Friday, Oct. 13, at the Pembine High School. This special event features a one-of-a-kind donkey basketball game. In donkey basketball, the game is played like a normal basketball game, except the players ride donkeys throughout the entirety of the game. Doors open at 6 p.m., with tip-off at 7 p.m. in the Pembine High School gym. Admission is $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Children ages 5 and under admitted free.
