IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs will meet Friday at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.

The luncheon will begin at noon. Menu will include vegetable stir fry with egg roll, dessert and coffee. Cost is $15, all inclusive.

Guest speakers will be Sgt. Brandon Rudder of the Kingsford Public Safety Department and Trooper Geno Basanese of the Michigan State Police.

They will present a program on vaping, a serious problem in the local community and nation. Citizens need more information on vaping, the dangers and addiction. Time also will be available for questions following the PowerPoint presentation.

The ways and means committee will sell Terry Lynn chocolates and fruit and nut snacks for $10 for a 1-pound package.

Vintage jewelry and scarves will be sold. Members are asked to donate, as more items are needed. Please bring gently used or new jewelry, scarves and other small accessories.

Grocery receipts are being collected from Tadych’s Family Market and Super One Foods.
