Halloween story hours planned at Crystal Falls Community Library
CRYSTAL FALLS — The Crystal Falls District Community Library will run Halloween story hours from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Due to the current gathering restrictions, the library will have these story hours with four children at a time to allow for social distancing.
Children will get to listen to some scary and silly Halloween tales along with making a craft.
Masks are required. Children will be able to “take away” their treat and juice box. Children also will get to take home a Halloween book to keep for their home library.
Those interested in having their child or children attend a Halloween story hour can call 906-875-3344 or email the library at egathu@uproc.lib.mi.us to reserve a space. Only one parent should plan to attend the event.
“Thank you for understanding our necessary precautions, and we hope that you can join us at the library on Halloween morning,” Crystal Falls Librarian Evelyn Gathu said.
