Group seeks donations for Camp Batawagama

CRYSTAL FALLS — The Friends of Camp Batawagama is making progress toward its goal of raising $25,000 online to support construction of a new bathroom building for boy campers at the Iron County Youth Camp.

The $25,000 will cover about one-quarter of the projected cost, and it will be a great way to show larger donors the support Camp Batawagama has from generations of former campers, staff members, parents and fans.

The foundation of Camp Batawagama, an Iron County Youth Camp, is strong, thanks to decades of support from Iron County. To make camp an even better place, the non-profit organization Friends of Camp Batawagama wants to enhance the infrastructure.

For 25-plus years, the Friends of Camp Batawagama have supported substantial improvements to the camp facilities, most notably Friends Hall. Help FOCB celebrate its 25th anniversary by making a donation to this campaign.

The mission of Friends of Camp Batawagama is to foster the preservation of programs and the environment at Camp Batawagama. The vision of FOCB is to take an active role by providing avenues of financial support and volunteerism to the camp.
