KINGSFORD — Dickinson County Community Chorus rehearsals are in full swing. The adult chorus began rehearsing a few weeks ago and is now looking for children to fill out the program.

The Dickinson County Community Children’s Chorus will begin rehearsals Tuesday, June 9, from 6:30 to 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Kingsford, and have five weekly rehearsals until the Lake Antoine Park Concert on Sunday, July 12, that will celebrate the country’s 250th birthday.

Students must have excellent behavior, be able to read song lyrics and be excited to sing in a group and learn more about singing. Participants must have unchanged voices. Parents can pre-register their child by going to the website or contacting Dawn Kranz.
