‘Your Health Lecture Series’ continues tonight via Zoom

ESCANABA — The regular “Your Health Lecture Series,” sponsored by Bay College and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, continues at 6 p.m. Eastern time today. This month’s conversation features a panel of experts from the MSU College of Human Medicine addressing “The Behavioral Health Impact of COVID-19 in Michigan.”

Participants can expect an informative conversation about stressors associated with suicide during the COVID-19 pandemic, substance use issues and mental health challenges in Michigan, and ways to improve mental health during the pandemic.

Four panelists will participate in the event. Dr. Evonne Edwards is a psychologist at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services and an assistant professor at the MSU College of Human Medicine. Dr. Heide Rollings is youth/adolescent psychiatrist at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services and clinical assistant professor at the MSU College of Human Medicine. Dr. Carol Janney is epidemiologist and biostatistician at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services and adjunct assistant professor for the MSU College of Human Medicine. Emily Brereton is a doctoral candidate at the MSU College of Human Medicine.
