NIAGARA, Wis. — Niagara High School has announced three students chosen for membership in the Niagara chapter of the National Honor Society.

The newly install members are Beau Anderson, Evan Bruemmer and Stephanie Maes. In order to be considered for membership, students must maintain at least a 3.25 grade-point average and be a member of the junior or senior class.

NHS applicants are ranked in terms of scholarship, character, leadership and service to school and community. The NHS committee then evaluates each candidate and his or her personal essay prior to making the final selection.

“This honor is indicative of students who have achieved significant success in the field of academics. It also personifies individuals who exhibit the highest standards of service, leadership, and character. These inductees are model students in every respect,” NHS officials stated.

The local chapter is sponsored by the Niagara Student Council and is organized nationally by the National Association of Secondary School Principals.

Starting at $4.00/week.
