Woodland Elementary’s pumpkin-carving contest earned $102.89, with $45.27 of that earned by Kristin Novara’s second-grade class pumpkin. Students were able to vote all week by placing coins in front of their favorite pumpkin. The money collected was then donated to the American Red Cross. John and Lynne Wilson of the American Red Cross of Wisconsin received a check from students representing Novara’s class, Jordyn Johnson, Taylor Glibbery and Hayden Schetter.
