Beekeeping event tonight at the Dickinson County Library

IRON MOUNTAIN — Upcoming Dickinson County Library activities include:

— September is Library Card Sign-Up Month. All residents and property taxpayers in Dickinson County qualify for a library card at no charge. Non-residents can purchase a card for $17.50 for six months or $35 for the year. Library card holders have access to materials at all three sites, more than 30 libraries across the U.P., and 100s of libraries throughout the state.

In honor of Library Card Sign-Up Month, the library is partnering with Dulce Nulla Gourmet Desserts in September. Adult library card holders can show their card and receive 10% off their total purchase and be put into a prize from Dulce Nulla. Any adult cardholder who uses their card to check out materials during the month will be put into a drawing for a chance to win a gift card to Dulce Nulla Gourmet Desserts. Promotion is sponsored by Elsa Brule.
