Carmelite Fall Festival this weekend

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Carmelite Sisters, along with co-chairs from St. Mary Catholic Church in Norway and St. Barbara Catholic Church in Vulcan, will host the annual Carmelite Fall Festival on Saturday and Sunday.
The annual event will be from noon to 3 p.m. both days at the monastery at the M-95/U.S. 2 north junction in Iron Mountain.
They will serve a plate lunch during this time as a fundraiser. They will also have their main and basket raffles, along with crafts and bake sale, including the sisters’ famous bread.
Tickets for the main drawing are $5 and can be purchased at any Catholic parish in the Diocese or at the Monastery prior to the event or the days of the event.
Prizes are $500, first; $400, second; $300, third; $200, fourth; and $100, fifth.
All cash prize winners and basket raffle winners will be drawn at 3 p.m. Sunday. Winners need not be present.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
