O’Dette has been promoted to senior vice president and chief credit officer. She now is the retail lending manager, overseeing a team of lenders originating mortgage, home equity and consumer loan products. In her new role, she will be responsible for managing the risk of both the bank’s retail and commercial lending programs, along with providing support, direction, credit information, and implementing loan policies and procedures to ensure the bank’s best lending practices follow state laws and regulations.

O’Dette joined the company in January 2010 as the bank’s first credit analyst and was vice president business banker from March 2014 to January 2019, when she was promoted to vice president retail lending manager. She also is security officer and is involved in many internal committees. She had been with MFC First National Bank/Wells Fargo Bank, where she was customer service, branch manager, mortgage department manager and vice president of Retail Lending.

She received an associate degree from Bay College and is a 2015 graduate of the MBA Commercial Lending School.

O’Dette is active in the community, volunteering her time to many groups, including serving on the board for the Dickinson Area Chamber Alliance; as treasurer for IM-K Builders Exchange, Carney Lake Association and Carney Lake Boards; and as chair of the newly formed Family Snowshoe Charity Association. She lives in Breitung Township with her husband, Larry.

BETH LINN

Linn has been promoted to assistant vice president and operations manager. As operations manager, she is responsible for all bank deposit operations, including overseeing the daily operational and compliance aspects.

Linn has a bachelor of science in accounting degree from Lake Superior State University and is also certified through ECCHO as a National Check Professional, or NCP. She was at First National Bank & Trust from 1998 to 2005 as a teller and mortgage loan processor before working as a reimbursement coordinator/finance for Dickinson County Healthcare System. She returned to First National Bank & Trust in 2018 as deposit operations supervisor and was promoted to operations manager in March 2021.

She is active in the community and is a member and former co-secretary of the Zonta Club of Iron Mountain-Kingsford.
