Wausaukee Enterprises operates with aid of Impact Fund grant

WAUSAUKEE, Wis. — Wausaukee Enterprises Inc. has received a $6,000 grant from the Impact Fund for COVID-19 Relief at the M&M Area Community Foundation.

Wausaukee Enterprises will use the grant money to help offset lost revenue due to facility closure caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This money received allows WEI to continue to maintain and offer programs such as vocational training, adult day service programs, transportation, and help with additional operating costs caused by the current pandemic.

Wausaukee Enterprises, Inc. is a non-profit community rehabilitation program established in 1969 that helps disabled individuals in Marinette County gain greater independence within their community.

Wausaukee Enterprises will continue to provide services to all in need and continue to fulfill its mission. To volunteer, contact 715-856-5441.

The board of directors at the M&M Area Community Foundation established the Impact Fund in March to help area non-profits whose resources have been strained by the coronavirus. The foundation seeded the fund with $25,000. Additional donations were made to the fund by community members throughout Marinette and Menominee counties.
