Bay College West Campus hosts Little Scientists’ youth camp
IRON MOUNTAIN — Bay College’s West Campus in Iron Mountain is offering a one day only little scientists youth camp titled, “Crazy Christmas Science Camp.”
The camp will be on Friday, Jan. 3, with session one from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and session two from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
The three-hour camp is $40 per camper and will be led by Denise Maloney, the early childhood coordinator at West Iron County Schools.
Campers can expect to roll up their sleeves and get messy making ‘Grinch Slime,’ designing Christmas tree towers, making peppermint “Oobleck,” erupting Christmas ornaments, designing and decorating gingerbread houses and working on architectural skills-building gumdrop structures, among other activities.
