Two roads in Norway are slated for work this year, with a larger project expected to begin in 2021.

This year’s proposed paving projects include asphalt overlays on the entirety of Summit Road and the remainder of Pearney Lane, City Manager Ray Anderson said.

A portion of Pearney Lane, from Summit Road to Warner Lane, had been paved in 2016.

The projects will be discussed at the city’s upcoming budget hearings, though no date has been set.

Anderson said though many people have asked whether a portion of Main Street — north of the viaduct — should take priority, that project qualifies for a 2021 federal aid program which would pay for 80 percent of its cost.
