Marinette County sheriff looking for missing Beecher man
Jimmy Lee Willey
MARINETTE, Wis. — The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Jimmy Lee Willey of Beecher.
Willey, 66, was last seen on Saturday and is believed to have left his Beecher residence in his vehicle, a black 2008 Dodge Caravan with Wisconsin temporary tag B1002AE, or possibly Wisconsin plate AJN4433.
He is described as 6 feet in height and weighing 200 pounds, with green eyes and white hair. He uses a cane, walks with a distinct limp and has health concerns.
He may have gone to the Daggett area in the Upper Peninsula and continued north, Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve said. He last was seen eastbound on U.S. 2 in the area of the Island Resort and Casino but has not returned home.
“This is out of character for Mr. Willey, who lives alone, never leaves for very long and left his dog alone at the house,” Sauve said.
The dog is being cared for by a neighbor.
Any information can be reported to the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office at 715-732-7600.
