KPS responds to fire alarm

KINGSFORD — Kingsford Public Safety was alerted at 5:31 p.m. Friday to a fire alarm at the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Community Federal Credit Union, 400 S. Carpenter Ave., Iron Mountain.

Officers arrived at 5:34 p.m. to find an alarm had been activated due to a malfunctioning light fixture. It was determined there was no fire. The light was removed from the fixture.

There was no other damage and officers cleared the scene at 5:55 p.m.
