Florence County High School students Kiera Sullivan and Audrey Selden paint picnic tables for a new pavilion in Fence, Wis., that will be dedicated to U.S. military veterans. Fence Community Military Veterans are building the pavilion near the Fence Post Store and a grand opening is scheduled for July 3. Florence technical education students built five picnic tables and art department students have been handling the painting, said Monica Chartier, director of technology for Florence County schools. The paintings will have art representing all five U.S. military branches — Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Air Force.
