Habitat for Humanity golf event set
KINGSFORD — The public is invited to take part in the 19th annual “Raise the Roof” Golf Outing for Habitat for Humanity on Friday, June 4, at TimberStone Golf Course in Iron Mountain.
This four-person scramble has on course games and a sledgehammer putting contest. The shotgun start will be at 1 p.m. The winning team will receive a cash prize.
The registration fee of $500 per foursome includes green fees, cart fees, sandwiches from Subway and food/drink tickets for the TimberStone Clubhouse.
Edwards Automotive is again sponsoring a Hole-In-One prize. New to the outing, Kubick Aviation will offer a free plane ride to anyone who hits a tee shot to within 2 feet of a designated hole.
Event sponsors include: First National Bank and Trust, Kubick Aviation, Northern Interstate Bank, Affiliate Mortgage Services, First Bank and Subway.
All proceeds remain local and will be used for Habitat’s home repair program.
