VULCAN — A collision between a pickup truck and a train late Wednesday afternoon in Vulcan left the vehicle’s driver with serious injuries, according to reports.

The accident happened just after 4 p.m. Wednesday on South Spruce Street just off U.S. 2, sources said. The man driving the truck was taken to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, then transferred to UP Health System-Marquette, according to reports.
