The Iron Mountain Post Office has announced a change in customer service hours that will start Saturday, Aug. 6.

They will be open from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday, unless a federal holiday falls on a Saturday. This change is being made to help with customer service.

Since the carriers will come out of the Iron Mountain office, this is where customers will need to go to pick up packages or mail that has been held.

With this change, the Kingsford Post Office will no longer be open on Saturdays effective Saturday, Sept. 3.

Customers are encouraged to go to the Iron Mountain Post Office at 101 W. Ludington St. for their postal needs.
