Jacobs Funeral Homes in Iron Mountain, with locations in Niagara and Florence, Wis. and Crystal Falls, donated $250 toward the The Main Street Fun Run, a fundraising family ATV/UTV ride, planned Sept. 24 in Niagara. William Lisenbey, left, funeral director, and Perry Jacobs, owner and funeral director, present the check to members of the Main Street Makeover Committee, Audrey Fredrick, Lynn Burke and Jeri Allen. Proceeds will be used to purchase Christmas decorations for street lights, additional holiday decorations, as well as other ongoing beautification projects. The event starts with breakfast at 8:30 a.m. at the Pit Stop Bar and Grill. The ride starts at 10 a.m. There will be food, drinks and live music from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bob’s Country Bar. Registration is $25 per person which includes an insulated mug and food at Bob’s Country Bar. There will also be a 50/50 drawing and drawings for baskets and prizes.
