Dickinson County sheriff issues activity report for February
IRON MOUNTAIN — Dickinson County Sheriff Scott Rutter has issued his monthly report for February.
The road patrol served 85 civil process papers, investigated 129 complaints, handled 25 accidents, issued 40 citations and 144 verbal warnings, made 16 arrests — four of which were for outstanding warrants — completed 116 property checks, conducted three prison transports to Marquette and three prisoner transports.
The correctional center had 66 bookings, with an average daily booking of 2.2 and an average daily population of 37.
The dispatch center handled 547 911 calls, 2,913 non-911 calls, 1,493 calls for law enforcement service, 464 calls for ambulance service and 56 calls for fire service.
Fifteen individuals assigned to the sheriff’s work van logged 210 hours at the sheriff’s office/courthouse, Dickinson-Iron Community Services Agency, Feeding America food distribution, food delivery to Salvation Army, Pine Mountain, TRICO Opportunities, Northern Lights YMCA, Lake Antoine, trash pickup at parks and roadside trash pickup.
