IRON RIVER — Lynda Verville Preston passed away on July 7, 2024, after a long illness. Born in Iron River, she was a long-time resident of San Antonio, Texas. She worked as an insurance underwriter for over 25 years before earning her BSN at UT Health Science Center. As a nurse she worked primarily in home hospice providing end of life care for children with terminal illnesses.
