IRON RIVER — Richard W. Nordstrom, 72, of Iron River, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital, after a battle with cancer. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2, from 11 a.m. to noon at Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at noon, with Pastor Gary White officiating. IRON MOUNTAIN — Susan Lee (Cox) Ruohomaki, 77, of Iron Mountain was called home on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, with her family at her side following a courageous 14 month battle with cancer. Visitation will be at the Maranatha Assembly of God Church, 920 S. Carpenter Ave., from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, with the Rev. David Wilton officiating the funeral service at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan’s name to the Maranatha Messengers. QUINNESEC — Myrna Jean Ward, 93, of Quinnesec, entered the church triumphant on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain. In comfort and in peace, she passed away from natural causes, embraced by the love of family and friends. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. until noon at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. A celebration of life will follow at noon at the funeral home, with Pastor Dave Johnson presiding. The family will host a luncheon after the service.
