Northern Stars set tryout dates, location

NIAGARA, Wis. — Niagara Northern Stars Soccer Club is a competitive travel soccer club with age groups ranging from U10-U19.

Part of the East Central Wisconsin Soccer District, games and tournaments are primarily played in the Green Bay and Appleton areas as well as home in Niagara.

“Teams participate primarily in the spring and some teams elect to also play fall leagues and tournaments,” said Coach Jim Laydon.

The 2017/2018 league champion U11 boys team is holding open tryouts for next season. Tryouts are open to anyone born in 2007 or 2008 and willing to make the commitment to play on a competitive travel soccer team.

Tryouts will be held Tuesday, July 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Riverside Park’s soccer field three.

U15 tryouts — Tryouts for the Niagara Northern Stars U15 boys soccer team will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Riverside Park’s field four. Anyone interested in playing on our traveling team is invited to attend.
